Additionally, the flavonoid in the hot chocolate also helps the body to process nitrogen monoxide, which can improve blood flow and lower blood pressure.

Black Tea

Black tea is also one of the drinks that can lower blood sugar levels. The black tea, based on a research in China, can reduce the blood absorption of glucose. The tea extracted from the leaves of Camellia Sinensis contains a lot of polysaccharides; the polymeric carbohydrate molecules composed of monosaccharide and bound by glycosides that can lower cholesterol levels in the blood as well.
